As onlookers watch, the fire service arrives to provide emergency safety assistance, and after reaching the top, Landot is detained by the police.

The line connects the Palace of Culture and Science with the Varso Tower, the tallest skyscraper in the European Union. In addition to the athletic spectacle, the stunt is being presented by the promoter, Red Bull, as a symbolic link between “old” and “new” Warsaw.

Setting off from the Poniatowski Bridge, the runners pass through the streets of Warsaw, finishing at the National Stadium. Polish runner, Elżbieta Glinka won the women's category with a personal best time of 1:09:25, and the men's category was won by Kenyan runner, Amon Kiptoo.

Runners may complete as many climbs as they wish; however, the goal is to reach the 42nd floor 52 times, reaching the height of Mount Everest. The event lasts 24 hours, and runners can take breaks at any time. They may even go home to sleep before returning, reinvigorated, to attack the peak. This year, a runner named Klaudia Krajewska ranked highest, completing 109 climbs, stopping a remarkable one climb of the tower from "ascending Everest" twice.

Alongside the Lodz Skyweavers and the Krakow Dragons, the Warsaw Mermaids participated in the first of the two-day round-robin league competition. The winners will travel to a yet-to-be-announced European city in 2026 to compete for the European Cup. Quadball is based upon a fictional, magical sport Quidditch played in the Harry Potter universe. It is a co-ed team sport that combines elements of rugby, handball, and dodgeball.

Audiences are treated to three days of aerobatic dog frisbee displays from canine athletes from all over Poland. On Saturday afternoon, dogs and their human partners take part in both freestyle performances and "Frizgility", a mixed competition of agility and frisbee.

The victory was the club's first domestic trophy in 70 years, and the celebration was to be attended by a chaotic, noisy and adoring public. Crowds gathered from early in the morning waiting for the team to pass by St. James' Park on their way through the city to the Town Moor, where a celebration event continued into the evening.

Without a domestic trophy win in 70 years, the "Toon Army" travel from Newcastle with great excitement. The Newcastle fans gather in Covent Garden for a party the day before the cup final. The next day they travel down Wembley Way to Wembley Stadium for the match and, after the historic 1-2 victory, are seen joyously celebrating.

Doyle was welcomed to the podium, along with 2nd place Pole Bartosz Zmarzlik, and 3rd place Brit Robert Lambert.
