The march is billed as an opportunity for the community to come together and make their voices heard, chanting about the importance of equality for animals. As the participants marched, pro-animal, anti-factory farming slogans were chanted along with encouragements for the public to "go vegan".

In a huge victory for LGBTQ+ rights, the court rules that foreign same-sex marriages must be recognised in Poland and that this does not violate the Polish constitution. Prior to the ruling, activists of the HomoKomando group, including founder Linus Lewandowski, speak to the press.

Under the slogan "Solidarity in Times of Capitalypse", activists march with placards and banners from Unii Lubielski Square through the centre of Warsaw, to the Charles De Gaulle roundabout, where DJs provide music for a street party.

Known for his work on addiction and trauma, he is also considered one of the most expressive voices supporting the rights of Palestinians. As a Jewish Holocaust survivor, his voice is particularly relevant to the debate. In this 1st event of a nationwide tour, Maté speaks on his "Reflections on Individual and Collective Trauma" with specific reference to the current ongoing genocide in Gaza. Following his talk, he is joined onstage by educator Ewa Jasiewicz for an audience-inclusive panel discussion. The event was organized by a network of academic teachers and students associated with Polish universities, non-governmental organizations (Polish-Palestinian Initiative for Justice, Kaktus, Nomada Association, Plan B Association) and socially engaged collectives (FFIPP Europe, keffiyeh collective).

The Polish Animal Rebellion group states that all the materials used in the protest are easily washable and not permanent. The intention of the action is to draw attention to the suffering of animals and the climate cost of such industrial farming.

The march is billed as an opportunity for the community to come together and make their voices heard, chanting of the importance of equality for animals. Participants began their action at the statue of Copernicus on Nowy Swiat street and marched with banners and placards down through the city centre, behind the Palace of Culture and Science, and returned to Copernicus' statue. As the participants marched, pro-animal, anti-factory farming slogans were chanted along with encouragements for the public to "go vegan".
