Polish citizens march through Warsaw to celebrate Independence Day
11 November 2024 – 11 November 2025 · Śródmieście, Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland
Each year on the 11th of November, Polish citizens from all over the country march through the streets of Warsaw to celebrate Independence Day. Though the event gathers tens of thousands of participants, and many patriotic Poles gather to celebrate with their families, many far-right and fascist organisations also march. The march itself was initiated by far-right groups and has been marred by controversy as it is seen by many as promoting fascism, antisemitism and racism.
