The US ambassador to Poland, Thomas Rose, meets the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, in the US Pavilion before the President gives comments to the assembled media. With a record number of Israeli exhibitors in attendance, at the end of the first day, pro-Palestinian, anti-genocide and anti-war protesters gather at the exit to wave flags and taunt the exhibitors with shouts of "Shame" and "You have blood on your hands".

The event, which features over 100 exhibitors, brings together industry experts, the military, and the public to showcase weaponry and related technologies. The fair is opened with a keynote speech from the Polish Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The constant threat of Russian aggression, matched with the diminishing protection commitments from the US, has seen an increased defence spending by the central European country. As such, the Polish defence and security sector is now growing at an unprecedented rate.
