About The Tinnitus Diaries

The Tinnitus Diaries is the music photography of Scottish street photographer Neil Milton – me. I was the owner, manager and indie-pop underachiever of Scottish record label Too Many Fireworks from 2002 until 2019. From seeing the Beach Boys as my first gig at the age of 8, through following bands around the country in my 20s, to playing and promoting shows in my 30s, live music has always been my place of rebellion, discovery, and belonging. Now, in my 40s, I go to gigs, and I make some photos. Sometimes, I get paid.
