Defence Expo. Warsaw, Poland

On Friday, the 19th of June, the first Warsaw Defence Fair (Warszawskie Targi Obronne) opens at the EXPO XXI exhibition and conference centre in Warsaw, Poland. The event, which features over 100 exhibitors, brings together industry experts, the military, and the public to showcase weaponry and related technologies. The fair is opened with a keynote speech from the Polish Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The constant threat of Russian aggression, matched with the diminishing protection commitments from the US, has seen an increased defence spending by the central European country. As such, the Polish defence and security sector is now growing at an unprecedented rate.
