Sometimes you wait for a subject to react, other times, tripping the shutter is the reaction. I was reading a chapter of a book this week that reminded me of a photo I took in Glasgow in 2008. A couple sharing a kiss on the step of the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art while their friend mocked them by relaxing against them. I wanted to share that particular photo so I decided to build it around some photos I had of how people react to their situation, or in a couple of cases, to the presence of the camera. And so here we are.
