Students in Warsaw protest against the ongoing genocide in Gaza with an occupation of their university campus

Since the beginning of Israel's brutal and cynically ongoing genocide in Palestine following October 7th 2023, they have razed Gaza to the ground, destroying all universities. Israel has murdered hundreds of thousands of people, wiping out whole Palestinian family bloodlines. Infants have been shot in the head. In May and June 2024, students at Warsaw University, already involved with the Palestine movement, agreed to occupy the university grounds. Beginning with a series of protests from the 17th of May then forming an encampment on the 24th of May until they were forcibly removed from the campus on the 12th of June, the students demonstrated in support of the University's divestment from investments in Israel, and the severing of any connection with academia in Israel. The genocide continues to this day.
